According to STN EN1789 Transport of Sick and Wounded- belongs to the category of road ambulances, Type A: Ambulance for transport of a patient – road ambulance constructed and equipped for the transport of patients, by whom it is not supposed that they become patients of life- threatening status.There are 2 types of ambulances for transport of patients:
- Type A1:suitable for transport of one patient.
- Type A2: suitable for transport of one or more patients (on stretchers and (or) on chair/s).
